While the Zenith Protocol provides a comprehensive seasonal shield, we recognize that nature occasionally presents unique, high-pressure challenges. Whether you are preparing for a milestone celebration or dealing with a sudden wildlife breach, Ken and Kalib provide specialized interventions designed to resolve the issue with minimal disruption to your lifestyle.
The Outcome: A perfectly clear environment for your most important gatherings: weddings, graduations, or garden parties. We provide a multi-layered defensive deployment 48 hours prior to your guests' arrival. This is a high-impact neutralization of the local nuisance and biting insect population designed to last through your entire event.
Reclaiming your attic and structural voids while respecting the local ecosystem.
Bats are a unique challenge in the Mid-Michigan corridor. While they are beneficial to the environment, their presence inside a home creates significant structural and health concerns. The first step if you encounter a bat in your home is to confine it to one room, open windows, and wait for it to leave. If it doesn't leave overnight then call us. Never handle a bat without thick gloves. Even though less than 1% of bats carry rabies, if you suspect exposure or a bite, seek immediate medical attention. If this is the case, once the bat is captured, we will take it in for testing.
Because bats are a protected species, their removal requires a sophisticated understanding of their biological cycles. There are times of the year when it is illegal to disturb bat colonies in any way. If you have a bat flying around in your home, we are permitted to capture and remove it. We cannot, however, remove any other bats that may be in torpor (hibernation) in your home. Removal of bats (and installation of one way devices) is strictly prohibited from May 16 to July 31. In addition, bats in torpor should not be disturbed from the beginning of November to the end of March.
We do not utilize "quick fix" chemicals that are illegal in our state. Instead, we perform a Live Exclusion. We identify every primary and secondary entry point and install specialized one-way exit devices. This allows the colony to leave naturally at night to forage, but prevents their re-entry.
Once the structure is confirmed clear, we perform a permanent seal of the entry points using professional-grade architectural materials. We can also install bat houses on your property if you enjoy the protection that bats can give as ravenous mosquito eaters.
Single bat capture and removal is $199 ($249 midnight- 6am). Price for exclusion is determined upon structural inspection. Bat exclusion can often run into the thousands of dollars range. We always advise getting multiple quotes from reputable companies before going forward with an exclusion.
Immediate safety for your family from aggressive aerial threats. Wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets can quickly turn a patio or pool deck into a liability. We provide professional identification, treatment, and physical removal of nests from structural eaves, overhangs, and ground-level voids.
Humanely managing intruders and permanently hardening your home. We provide case-by-case removal and relocation services for a variety of local wildlife, followed by expert exclusion work to ensure they cannot return.
For clients seeking a 100% plant-based lifestyle, we can convert any of our specialized interventions into a purely botanical protocol*. Using our EcoVia suite of essential oils (thyme, rosemary, and peppermint), we deliver results that respect your environmental preferences without sacrificing the efficacy of the Sleight family’s expertise.
